POLYURETHANE ROOFS

The roof is the foundation of any building, and its lifespan depends on its quality.
That’s why choosing and positioning the roof must be carefully considered. When searching for a suitable option, special attention should be given to polyurethane roofs.

What are polyurethane roofs?

Polyurethane waterproofing is applied using brushes and paint rollers, which create a seamless membrane when applied. Thanks to its liquid consistency, it evenly coats concrete roofs, providing excellent protection against moisture. This is especially useful in structural joints, such as where the roof connects to another building element—like chimneys or skylights. It is most commonly used for concrete roofs, particularly ribbed concrete roofs on apartment buildings. This material has good UV protection, preventing deformation, and the waterproofing layer is vapor-permeable, meaning any moisture that forms underneath the roof covering will evaporate.

What does ROOFMASTER offer?

ROOFMASTER offers roof diagnostics using the only innovative diagnostic device in the Baltics — ROOF PRO. During the roof inspection, we assess all problem areas and provide the best possible solution to address roof issues! We diagnose all types of flat roofs. This excellent diagnostic tool allows for high-quality work and can identify problems that even an experienced professional might not detect with the naked eye.

Why polyurethane?

This type of roof covering consists of one (primer) or two (roof membrane) components. It is applied to the roof and eventually transforms into a seamless, rubber-like material. The seamless polyurethane roofing layer withstands extreme temperatures (from -40°C to +100°C), aggressive environments, and has a long service life. Additionally, this roofing system is known for its excellent durability, flexibility, and lightness. Due to these and other features, it is widely used for both residential and industrial buildings.

One major advantage of this material is on corrugated panel roofs, where—thanks to lower installation costs and an equivalent service life compared to bitumen materials—it becomes a more economically advantageous option that can be completed in a shorter time frame.

Furthermore, application work in this segment can also be done using high-pressure spray equipment.

The company offers its own polyurethane waterproofing material, which is more cost-effective compared to other suppliers.

Advantages:

  • Excellent resistance to weather and UV radiation
  • Outstanding thermal resistance — the product never softens, even at +80°C, and temporarily withstands temperatures up to +200°C
  • Maintains flexibility down to -40°C
  • Excellent mechanical properties: high strength, crack resistance, and abrasion resistance
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Non-toxic after curing
  • Vapor-permeable — does not trap moisture beneath the coating
